Two in car shot near Ronan Park; homicide unit called in
By adamg on Tue, 05/21/2013 - 7:50pm
Two people found with gunshot wounds in a car on Bowdoin Street between Adams and Hancock were apparently shot as they drove by a home on Mt. Ida Road by Homes Avenue around 7:30 p.m. At least one of the victims was in bad enough shape that the homicide unit was summoned, just in case he dies.
Update: Boston Police report one victim was a man, 23, and a woman in her 40s. Both were taken to Boston Medical Center and are expected to survive.

Homes is an Avenue.
ANy more news on this incident? I live at this intersection and didn't hear shots or sirens yesterday evening
Updated the original post
With a bit more information from Boston Police (and fixed the street name).

The female victim is my sister. She almost died from her injuries. It was completely random and unprovoked. It makes me sick that they will never find the loser who walked up to the car she was driving and almost shot her to death. For what? For nothing. She may lose most if not all function in her left arm. It's a tragedy that will happen over and over again until we make changes to gun laws to keep guns out of the hands of people who shouldn't have them.
