Man pistol whipped, carjacked on Boston Street

Police are looking for a gray, 2004 Buick LeSabre, Mass. plates 399 ME1, taken by force from its owner around 10:10 p.m. outside 155 Boston St. One suspect is black and 6', the other is Hispanic and 5'6".

What the whole story is here. Was this an everyday "civilian" who was carjacked for no other reason than these thugs desperately wanted a 2004 Buick LeSabre? Pistol whipped? wtf?
