East Boston man charged with Saturday-morning stabbing in drunken money dispute
Boston Police report a man was found stabbed in the parking lot of La Chiva Restaurant, 259 Bennington St. around 6:40 a.m. Saturday. He was taken to Mass. General with life-threatening injuries.
Rony Ernesto Aguino, 30, was arrested not long after on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
According to the Suffolk County District Attorney's office:
Aguino allegedly made post Miranda statements indicating that he and the victim were drinking together in a nearby apartment when he accused the victim of stealing money from him and that he stabbed the victim during a brief altercation
East Boston District Court Judge Kenneth Fiandaca set bail at $75,000 and ordered Aguino to stay away and have no contact with the victim and any witnesses, wear a GPS monitor, remain within 15 miles of Boston, surrender his passport, abide by a curfew and stay away from the area of Bennington Street where the stabbing happened, the DA's office reports.
Innocent, etc.

It was a lot cooler...
... when I read it quickly and it said 'drunken monkey dispute.'
Now, less so. Significantly less so.
Disappointed!
So did I!!
Whew!
I'm relieved to see I'm not the only one who misread it that way.
Same here!

Is worth $10,000 in court cost as long as you can keep your pride and tax payer are paying for your defense. #streetcred
Include me in the mix....
There is a bargame (one of those little arcade machines in some bars) that has a game called 'drunk monkey'. I thought that is what confused me.
