AlertNewEngland reports the Peoples United branch at 86 Massachusetts Ave. was held up around 11:15 a.m. by a black man, wearing a dark hoodie and a red cap.

I have never seen anyone in that bank when walking past, neither customer nor employee. I thought it was just a bank retail space for ATM's. It used to be a well-kept and clean convenience store with a decent selection of fresh food, well for a convenience store at least.
