Pink-shirted teen with arm in a cast and pal charged with trying to kill three men in a car
Boston Police report arresting two men on attempted-murder charges early this morning after they allegedly pumped bullets into a car with three people inside, outside 67 Burrell St. on the Roxbury/Dorchester line.
Police say the two gunmen missed all three of their victims in the incident around 4:40 a.m., although the car's windows were damaged by the bullets.
According to police, officers managed to arrest Erickson Deaveiga, 18, of Dorchester, and Dayshawn Harris, 18, of Randolph, after a short foot chase - although one of them managed to get up to the third-floor porch of a nearby house. One of them - police did not specify which, wore a pink shirt and a cast on his left arm.
Police say Pink Shirt was already familiar to them because of an incident around 1:20 a.m. at 7 Stoughton St., on the other side of Uphams Corner in Dorchester. Officers arrived there to break up a large disturbance outside and noticed the teen in a pink shirt, with a cast on his left arm, "acting aggressive and combative." However, he calmed down as officers approached.
Innocent, etc.
