I was there. There was a fight between two girls and a man pulled out a gun. Everyone fled from the house and then the shooter fired 6 bullets outside of the house.

Which house was it? Was it the pink one on the corner?

love this website but lets be real it goes to show you how slow things are in Boston....i follow other cities crime stats and really no other cities post about shootings where no one got hit....i guess thats what happens when you live in a major city where literally no one gets killed in

39 dead this year. The first of the year happened only 2.5 hours after midnight on New Year's Day just down the street in Allston from where this shooting occurred.

Sure, we're not 200+ murder capital of Baltimore, but "literally" people get killed in Boston all year long.

You can't use "literally" like it is...because 39 isn't literally 0.

so...what are you trying to say? I think we should be proud that we don't have the homicide rate of other cities. And let's be real here, most homicides happen in very specific parts of the city, over very specific beefs. It's not like anyone's getting shot on Newbury Street. I'm sure it's like that in these other cities as well. We have a safe city for the most part, we should be pretty damn happy about that.
