1 non fatal shooting in a major city is not news worthy.

But if the Globe doesn't want to cover that, eh, you know where to come (to be fair to the Globe, though, they are doing a much better job at this sort of news than a few years ago).

when Boston neighborhoods actually have multiple murders in a week or in a month, something Boston hasnt had this year(even in summer there was like 3 a month) then ill worry. until then a few punks shooting each other and most likely shooting NOT to kill which has been so evident in Boston shootings for the last few years im not gonna worry at all

look at the murder totals in this this city. Boston has went SO long in between murders for every murder its actually mind blowing. why should the news report on something that NEVER happens. seriously 2013 is over and this year is the closet thing to the Boston miracle we have ever seen its like the 3rd or 4th lowest total year ever it looks like.

i laugh when Boston had 75 in like 2005 or 2007 and the papers where exploding saying its a crisis when cities like St louis hit that number in like June

There's been 3 Boston cops shot this year guys shooting guns of wreck less with cops in early afternoon is not good we don't care about other cities this is our city could care less about others they obviously don't care about their own citiez .People don't want guns going off in their areas whether someone gets hit or not killed or not we take pride in our City.

3 cops shot yeah sure sucks and is a big deal but other cities again have this happen all the time....not Boston....we are the now prime example of soft outside of Portland,OR and Seattle.......bascailly we cannot talk crap about any violence because even cop stats are worse literally every other major city. Boston is NOTHING when it comes to stats not only is it a small murder rater but even assualts which used to be high and even rapes(btw thank god) are so down they dont even count anymore....theres literally like 3-5 cities under Boston for safety.....we live in the safest place in america basically its a fact

New York City had no cops shot in 2013 and St.Louis had 1 so that stat means cops are more likely to get shot in The Bloody Bean? Stats are for suckers its called false advertising
