DA: Man with knife offered stranger a choice - Your money or your ho

A Mattapan man was arrested on an armed robbery charge Saturday after allegedly demanding another man either hook him up with a prostitute or hand over his money, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

The victim, who did not know the guy, did not know of the whereabouts of any strumpets and so gave up $100 when Jean-Marie El-Saieh emphasized his request with "a large knife," as they stood on Blue Hill Avenue near Morton Street, the DA's office says.

According to the DA's office, police caught up with El-Saieh not long after and found the knife up one of his sleeve.

At his arraignment in Dorchester District Courty yesterday, Judge James Coffey ordered El-Saieh to Bridgewater State Hospital for evaluation.
