Man shot in Mission Hill drive-by, three teens arrested

Updated with BPD info.

Boston Police report arresting three teens for a drive-by on Horadan Way in the Mission Main project, that sent a man to the hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.

Tyler Trowers, 19, of Dorchester, a 17-year-old from Dorchester and a 15-year-old from Jamaica Plain were all arrested not long after the shooting on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, illegal weapon possession and discharging a gun within 500 feet of a dwelling.

An officer driving in his personal vehicle on his way home from a community meeting was monitoring his police radio and heard the description of the suspect’s vehicle. As the officer traveled on Malcolm X Boulevard toward Tremont Street, he observed a motor vehicle matching the description traveling at a high rate of speed toward Dudley Street. The officer broadcast the vehicle location, and units responded to assist him in conducting a traffic stop in the area of 230 Warren Street. As officers approached the vehicle, the occupants fled on foot.

Horadan is around the corner from where Luis Maldonado was shot to death Monday morning.

Innocent, etc,

I don't believe a second victim was ever located. And the first was "shot" in the head, a minor graze wound, conscious and alert - from the scanner.
