Get pepper spray. It's finally "legal". When someone tries to strike up a convo at 2am is a great time to reach for it... Not blaming victim and I'm glad the caught that pervert

Why do you put the word "legal" in quotes? It either is or it isn't.

Because while it is now legal without an FID card, I feel it is frowned upon by those who kept it hard to get for so long

shocking as it may be to you, MANY people ignore laws that adversely affect their safety. Ever hear the phrase "Better to he judged by twelve, than carried by six"?

Your statement makes no sense whatsoever and has nothing to do with reality.

OC spray is great to have, but it's not something that can be tossed in a purse and deployed immediately when needed. There are different types, and it needs to be carried in a way that it can be used quickly when a threat emerges. And while legal without an FID, it needs to be purchased from a gun store under the new law. Again, a good suggestion, but make sure you do your homework.
