I suppose I should be glad I haven't heard of any shootings so far. I hope its not a matter of time. I am a very tolerant fellow, but perhaps its time to get all Guliani-style draconian on the sketch artists who are up to no good there.

The last shooting put a stray bullet through the governor's window and resulted in dozens of blue light phones being installed in public parks almost overnight. Between this incident and the horrifying attack on the park rangers you'd think law enforcement would have clamped down hard on all the shady people lurking about the common by now. It's disturbing that in one of the most prominent public spaces in the city that little to nothing is done to broom never doers out of broad daylight,

1. Sorry to be persnickety, but it is the Common. The Commons is where you eat lunch in college.

2. Cabot Street, Cabot Street you say? Anybody want to guess who the landlord is for buildings on Cabot Street? (Hint - Look In The Mirror). Too bad we own the building, but can't kick the tenants / scum out.

I genuinely do not know the story on Cabot Street. Google suggests you're talking about either a cinema in Beverly, or a side street near Ruggles. What's on Cabot Street?

As long as I know I am annoying people with some of my comments I know that I have struck a nerve of truth in what I say. Nice potty fingers by the way. I'm sure your pet rat must be proud of you.

Sorry to be persnickety, but it is a pet cat. The rat just kind of lives in the basement.

If I've learned anything from every season of '24,' setting up a perimeter is a law-enforcement code word for 'let the suspects easily escape.'

Is this a completely random, non provoced attack? I guess so if it was robbery? We live in a scary world

A lot of times, the people involved know each other. Druggies often accuse each other of stealing drugs, money, etc.
