The bus involved was 2048. That's an Arborway Garage bus and only two Arborway routes run along Dudley Street: the 41 and 191. The 191 only makes one round trip very early in the morning; therefore it was working the 41 at the time of the incident.

Thankfully, this motorcycle-riding shitbag was more a braggadocio than man-of-action.

...for using "braggadocio" in an everyday sentence.

Forgot which bus I was on for a moment...

The bus was packed and people were freaked out. Some got off at the next stop just to be off the bus, citing the need to be alive for their kids. Others shared stories, most notably a passenger whose brother was killed by gun violence, and now participates in big brother/sister programs to keep kids out of trouble. People thanked him for his service.

It's unusual to see someone brandishing a gun at a bus driver, but seeing people in Dorchester/Roxbury pull together happens all the time.

Were there cameras on the bus? I know they capture the doors, but I'm not sure if they capture what happens outside the driver's side...

Did anyone hear news about a parent assaulting students on a BPD bus today on Topliff St.? I heard about it earlier but no updates.
