Nabbed: Three suspects in a Forest Hills break-in

Officers arrived on Barlow Street just in time to flush three guys out of a house around noon.

They ran through backyards towards Tower Street. One was captured on Woodlawn, a couple blocks away. The other two made it to Tower, where they disappeared. And then showed back up again on Woodlawn, which proved to be a mistake, given all the cops there, and they were promptly put into custody.

I hit Ukraine Way on my walk just at the right time. I thought it odd that the first car took a right on to Hyde Park Ave, but sure enough by the time the second car took the left (thus making it the third car), the first two came back. I even held traffic for the fourth car to go over the bridge.

Good police work.

Hi, it's Chris from Jamaica Plain News. I have some more details on this one, including that the two suspects caught on Woodlawn were hiding in a playhouse: http://bit.ly/1CweEnp

BPDNews posts about this incident, says the two remaining suspects never made it to Tower but were instead hiding in a child's playhouse on Woodlawn:

While searching suspect Roshawn Braggs, 20, of Roxbury, officers recovered a bag of rare coins in the suspect's front pocket. There were a total 46 coins, as well as two watches and a gold pin with a Fraternity insignia in the name of the victim, engraved on the rear of the pin. Braggs was arrested and charged with Breaking and Entering (Daytime), Destruction of Personal Property, Trespassing, Buying, Receiving, or Concealing Stolen Property. Two male juvenile suspects were also arrested. A 16 year-old of Boston, and a 17 year-old of Roxbury, were both charged with Breaking and Entering (Daytime), Destruction of Personal Property and Trespassing. The 16 year-old received an additional charge of Assault and Battery on a Police Officer.

Innocent, etc.
