Police are looking for the two teens witnesses said fired guns as they ran down Harrow Street in Uphams Corner shortly after 9 p.m., and the white car they shot at as it turned onto Humphreys Street

Change Tactics
Am I the only one who thinks the BPD needs to change tactics against these urban terrorists? How many useless hand wringing community meetings can you have? This is not an epidemic of gun violence. It is a pandemic problem that needs to be dealt with more aggressive action.

The police know full well who the members of these gangs are and who the perpetrators of most crimes pretty quickly thereafter. It is getting the evidence together for a solid case in court and most problematically getting our joke of a judiciary to sentence the offenders to more than 3 to 5 with time served that is difficult. It don't help either that DAs are way too willing to make deals since they aren't confident in the character of a judge.
All too often the book is thrown too hard at the wrong people and the real human crime waves are allowed to keep crashing hard on the shores of their neighborhoods.
