Teen charged with violent crime spree on the Red Line

A 16-year-old, apparently from Lancaster, was arraigned in Suffolk County Juvenile Court today on charges of armed and masked robbery, assault and battery, and attempted kidnapping for a Tuesday incident on the Red Line between JFK/UMass and Andrew stations and kidnapping and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon for a Monday incident in the area of Fields Corner, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

He faces arraignment tomorrow in Dorchester Municipal Court on additional charges.

More to come ...

Not a suburb, except it's sort of near Fitchburg.

There should be some interesting details on that one. Could it be something as simple as not letting a person off the train when they tried to exit? Or perhaps dragging someone onto a train against their will?

Having grown up in Stow, I would say this is typical of the masked Lancaster crowd!

Because special needs kids are particularly prone to violence? Is that what you're trying to say without saying here?
