You can refuse treatment or transport, and as long as you're not a danger to yourself (ie in imminent risk of death) or others, legally the paramedics have to let you go or request the police to put you into protective custody.
is it me or is a CR platform (I don't use the CR, but Track 6 does not sound like the subway) at South Station a particularly silly place to commit a crime (if you are not intending to be caught)?

not a deterrent
There was an article in the globe about drug dealers using South Station as a place to sell drugs.
All the high def cameras isn't enough of a deterrent for them, and probably no one else.
Spring time on the T
So glad the T is back to normal, now all passengers have to worry about is getting stabbed,robbed,or groped by perverts.
