Teen shot on River Street in Mattapan

Shortly before 6 p.m. in the area of 130 River St., Stanley Staco reports. The victim was wounded seriously enough the homicide unit was called in, just in case.

The Herald is reporting a 15
The Herald is reporting a 15 year-old teen who was shot in the chest four times. I live less than a block away. I was in the back yard with my four year-old when it happened and I am still hearing gunshots at 8:45. I have never experienced this before in the four years I have lived here. What the Christ is going on?

I agree, definitely has the feel of a gang war when you consider someone at almost the exact same location was shot 4 days ago. Also, right after that shooting tonight there was a drive by even with police near by and now shots fired again...senseless.
