This has been some of the worst few days of shootings in a while.

Thugs have been on a roll lately, really trying to catch up for all the action they've missed during the winter.

Walsh said it’s high time the neighborhoods got as outraged as he and Evans are and urged families who know of a gun in their house to call police so officers can swing by and pick it up.

The city is still offering gift cards valued at up to $200 as part of an ongoing gun buyback program.

Today's Herald

Considering the somewhat less than cordial relationship members of the black community are enjoying with police and given the fact that you can probably make a lot more than two hundred bucks with a gun nowadays, Walsh is really showing us how this is his "utmost priority".

How could John Connolly have done a better job?

What did St. Thomas of Readville do that Marty from Dorchester isn't doing when it came to crime?

Living outside of Boston now, it might surprise you that even after the "Boston Miracle" years, Menino sadly had to deal with nights like this.

and until we actually get a Mayor who comes from the streets that Menino and now Walsh could give two shits about, this kind of violence will continue.

And after hearing Walsh on Dan Rea's show the other night with his toady from the BRA with him, I'm convinced more than ever that not only is Walsh a crook and a bagman, he's three times dumber than he thinks he is.
