One stabbed, one sliced on Mason Street downtown

One man was stabbed and another suffered lacerations to his hands in an incident around 11:10 a.m. on Mason Street near Avery. The more seriously injured man is expected to survive. Police are investigating whether they got stabbed when they tried to rob a man who happened to have a knife on him.

And I used to work at the old one for a bit, so I old habits die hard I guess. Given the old was the first in North America, I think it's OK to call its successor the new.

One might jump to conclusions and say it has something to do with St. Francis House.
I ride my bike by there every day and see some potential stabbers!

Actually no, Bridge Over Troubled Waters is the problem in this alley and has been for about 5 years. They allow the youth to go in and out if the building all night, resulting in youth drinking, smoking and engaging in all kids of ubruley activity in that alley which is directly across the street from them, goes behind the Opera House then yes, leads to Ritz (they are not on that side but the West St side)

St Francis hooligans do all this directly in front of St Francis on Boylston, by the old RMV and in an alley that leads nowhere off Boylston
