Three Lawrence men charged with two armed robberies in the North End
Boston Police report arresting three Lawrence men for a pair of armed street robberies in the North End last night.
Police say Alvarez De Leon, 19, Andy Gonzalez, 20, and Jose Hernandez, 18, used a BB gun in two stickups in quick succession on North Street shortly before midnight:
The [first] victim stated that he was approached from behind by the men [at Cross Street] and that one of them had placed a firearm to his neck while demanding cash and his phone. The victim gave the suspects his money but retained his phone, later using it to call the police. The three men then fled on foot on North Street back towards the North End. The victim provided officers with a detailed description of the three males. While officers were in the area attempting to locate the suspects, they were flagged down in the area of 271 North Street by a second male victim on a bicycle who stated that he had just been robbed at gunpoint by three male suspects who matched given description. The second victim stated that one of the men had placed a firearm against his neck while demanding cash and his phone. The victim complied and the three suspects fled on foot back towards the Greenway.
Police say they quickly found the three on the Greenway, arrested them on armed-robbery charges and recovered the stolen property.
Innocent, etc.

Instead maybe you're standing next to Vinnie boombats when someone from the Providence crew decides to whack him, and you get hit by a stray bullet. Man, I wish the Mafia was still around, everything was so great. Just like Whitey, he kept the drugs out of southie...well, everyone's drugs but his (that he was giving to 13-14 year old girls in exchange for sex). Ah, the good old days.
