Police: Orange Line riders break up man's indecent assault on a woman

Transit Police report arresting a New Bedford man they say attacked a woman on an Forest Hills Orange Line train approaching Downtown Crossing around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Upon arrival officers had their attention drawn to a male, later identified as Terrell Alves, 25, of New Bedford who was in a agitated state and yelling at several passengers. Officers were then approached by a female victim who informed them Alves had indecently assaulted her while travelling on the train. Other passengers who witnessed the assault came to the victim's aid which resulted in Alves engaging in a verbal confrontation with them.

Alves was charged with indecent assault and battery, police say.

The cops should find at least one prior incident report involving this dirtbag. He tried to feel up a friend of mine, and she loudly screamed at him. He moved on to start harassing another woman and she got pictures of him doing it.

So good that on this train, at least, the passengers didn't sit on their hands and look the other way!

Its a sad commentary on the state of affairs on the MBTA that every female who rides the subway has to deal with perverts and level 3 sex offenders on a daily basis.
