Man in black holds up South Boston bank

Wanted for South Boston bank robbery

UPDATE: Quincy man pleads guilty.

The FBI's Bank Robbery Task Force reports the East Boston Savings Bank branch at 430 W. Broadway was held up around 9:25 a.m. yesterday by a white man clad in black, about 6' and 190 to 200 lbs.

If he looks familiar, contact the task force at 617-742-5533.

you mean his skin color? Same reason all the other (apparent) details like sex, height, weight, and clothing matter - they are aspects of his appearance that may help someone to identify him.

If the police could tell what his hair color, eye color, tatoos/scars, physical mannerisms etc were, I'm sure they'd put that out there as well.
