This is just the beginning it's a lot more to come. But it's the Boston police department's fault because if they would do their job and solve murders that would get some of the killers off the street. But instead of them doing what they get paid for they try to put it on the community to step up!! They don't protect anyone they expect people to snitch then fend for themselves! A DETECTIVE SOLVES THINGS so how are they detectives and it would be the community snitching! But hey what do I know

MY CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF THE VICTIM R.I.P

some are incompetent, racist, barely literate but they still NEED the communities help to solve and often times speed up the solving of a crime/murder.

I personally think it's the killer's fault.

I'm just wondering why nothing ever happened why no one found the person I shot my uncle Better yet the female they were fighting over there's never no justice whatsoever especially for us black folks

Here is some food for thought:
number one, it is no secret that black lives does not matter in Boston Massachusetts it does not matter to the police, the district attorney, the attorney general, the prosecution or the judicial system nor does it matter two fellow blacks! The reason I say this is because based on countless reports made public by the Attorney General and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, it is more important to build solid Federal cases against drug dealers and gang affiliates who have been suspected of murder for their territories, authorities will do nothing about it for the sake of their federal investigation all the while more murders. Secondly when there is hard circumstantial evidence but lack thereof physical evidence it's as if you've backed a tiger in a corner to see what it will do, what I mean by this? I'm glad u asked! When a suspect has committed bodily harm possibly murder ,they're not in the right frame of mind, paranoid, constantly in fight or flight mode therefore anyone who crosses their path rather good or bad is now subject too also being seriously injuried the suspect will always be armed from that point on so I feel bad for the person who rubs them the wrong way anytime thereafter the original assault or murder.
There will be a spike in police shooting because these young Blk men are more brazen and heartless. Think about it u have killed someone when u r caught u will never see day again, for those suspects, its not hard to imagine they now feel like might as well take out whoever or worst suicide by cop.
So yes detectives need help to solve these murders but the judicial system has to follow through to the fullest extent of the law the first time, I mean their gang affiliated, surely another member not so gun ho could lead the investigation to the king pin. No life should ever be spared for an investigation or secret indictment. Colombia point, lenox st and countless other raids, call my bluff, go back and read it for yourself, its a matter of public record and a story the attorney general is all to happy to share the and again.

The idea that the cops could force or creatively inspire various communities to talk about the crimes that plague their neighborhood is one that passes the buck. As long as their is no sense of accountability and or responsibility within these communities, no true progress will be made.

To quote a wise old man from walnut park who spoke candidly: " I saw it over the years since a boy. Italians took care of one another. Irish took care of one another. I watched it, it was beautiful. We blacks shoot each other over an expensive watch, or a flirtatious girl. Whatever happened to preferring to die on your feet over living on your knees?"

I agree the police and detectives can do better, get involved with the community and solve these crimes. You can tell by how the story is reported they don't care. Just another statistic.

I agree with u wholeheartedly as do I agree w Lyzia.
Growing up their was a code no woman, no child. That code amongst theives have long faded away. When someone was killed, there wasn't innocent bystander injuries as well. And cases were getting solved!!!! Neighborhood watch was in full effect and kids had respect!
Bostonian need to know the definition of a snitch. If u knew, u would know that most of us couldn't possibly ever be labeled a snitch.
Hey, I respect snitches, they are courages! But a snitch is someone who lives a street life and is involved in all sorts of criminal activity!!!! For one reason or another, decides to give information on another street player!!!

What a snitch is not!!!! A law bidding citizen, minding their business and happen to witness a violent crime! Nah, as a matter of fact as a citizen I believe it is ur duty to say something if u see something. If u don't u gonna wish somebody did when it affects ur family. And it will affect ur family sooner or later.

The communities ought to, should, I beg u to come together and be the voice that was taking on that precious night u witness something and say something! It doesn't matter how long ago,!!! Ur not a snitch, ur a citizen!!
Then the police need to make that arrest, the prosecutor need to prosecute to the fullest extent, no deals!! The judge should throw the book and the defendant can have a long sit and repent!

YOU CAN'T EXPECT THE COMMUNITY TO "SNITCH" AND LIVE IN THAT SAME HOOD, NO GUNS NO NOTHING! COME ON YOU GOTTA BE SMARTER THAN THAT. ALL I'M SAYING IS IF THEY EXPECT YOU TO RAT THEN THE LEAST THEY CAN DO IS TAKE CARE OF YOU. WHAT YOU THINK WHEN YOU TELL YOU DON'T GOTTA GO TO COURT AND TESTIFY AGAINST THE KILLER AND THAT KILLERS PEOPLE'S AIN'T GONNA BE THERE? AND YOU THINK THAT THEY ARE GONNA JUST LET YOU GET AWAY WITH SNITCHING ON THEIR MAN WITHOUT ANY REPERCUSSIONS!! ALL I'M SAYING IS THAT'S WHY NOBODY IN THE HOOD STEPS UP AND SAYS ANYTHING BECAUSE IT'S OUT OF FEAR OF RETALIATION AND THE BPD DON'T TELL YOU IN THE BEGINNING THAT YOU HAVE TO TESTIFY. SO WHEN EVERYTHING IS SAID AND DONE WHO'S GONNA PROTECT US WHILE THE COP IS AT HOME SLEEPING WITH HIS GLOCK AND AR-15 BESIDE HIM. I'M JUST SAYING THE WAY A LOT OF COMMUNITY MEMBERS ARE THINKING
