Two arrested for gun and drug possession in Dorchester playground; third arrested on warrants

Boston Police report arresting three men in Roberts Playground off Dunbar Avenue yesterday evening by officers patrolling the area because of recent gun-related incidents.

Rushon Hemenway, 19, of Dorchester, was charged with illegal possession of a firearm, illegal possession of ammunition, carrying a loaded firearm, possession of Class E drugs (Xanax) with intent to distribute and possession of class E drugs with intent to distribute in a playground. Darren Coolymore-Brown, 19, of Dorchester, was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute in a playground.

A third man, Rohan Anderson, 25, of Dorchester, was arrested on two outstanding warrants, police say.
