Police say guy with a thing for bricks smashes man in the head with a brick for looking at him funny in North Station

Fusco

Transit Police report arresting a Malden resident they say smashed a brick into the head of another man in the North Station commuter-rail waiting area around 5:15 p.m. yesterday.

Police arriving on scene found the victim, bleeding profusely from his head, and Stephen Fusco, 48, with fresh blood on his hands.

Fusco admitted to the assault and stated to the officers he did not appreciate the way the victim "looked" at him.

Fusco was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Fusco, it seems, really likes bricks. In 2014, he was arrested on charges he used a brick to smash the window of an Orange Line train at Community College. Police found him just standing there, shirtless, covered in fresh cuts, presumably from the glass he'd just smashed in.

Innocent, etc.

They arrested the guy who did the hitting, from what it says at the top of this thread. Good! Here's hoping that the guy who did the hitting goes to jail for a long time. He deserves it.

He was arrested for smashing a Trainy McTrainface with a brick two years ago. Ban this brick prick from the MBTA already.

Where the hell is this guy getting all these bricks?

Getting hit in the head with a brick can easily cause debilitating problems for the rest of your life.

I wouldn't make light of an alleged attacker.

Was trying to get across that this guy is no stranger to smashing things with bricks.

Jesus, is this guy just carrying bricks around in his pockets or something?

you think, "Damn, if I only had a brick right now", you eventually start carrying one around.

Probably.......more people are doing it than you think.....think about it .....so sleek, compact, and concealable.....plus a million other every day uses.....better than duct tape......and you never know when you're aggression level is gonna go slightly above "fist," but still stay lower than "cinder-block."

The Boston Garden hasn't seen this many bricks since Antoine Walker.

In their bag or something for protection,as opposed to a knife, which could get you in ttrouble with the law or at shelters.

He will come out of prison hardened and will probably graduate to cinder blocks.

Yep................words, fists, bricks, cinder-blocks, knives, guns, bombs.....

A natural progression.

Throw the book at him.
I'm all for 2nd chances and rehabilation etc. but at some point the incorrigible just need to be put away for as long as legally possible.

I will gladly pay an increased tax dedicated to incarcerating menaces like this.

Budget considerations should not be a factor for any kind of release..
