Hunt still on for woman whose Christmas spirit was harshed by Chinatown bank manager activating a silent alarm

The FBI's Bank Robbery Task Force continues to look for a woman they say was stymied in her attempt to rob the Webster Bank branch at 25 Stuart St. on Dec. 23.

The woman walked into the branch shortly after 1 p.m. that day, went up to a teller and:

Stated, “It’s that time of year”, and presented a demand note that stated “Give me all the money, no dye packs, all large, no $5’s or $10’s”. day?”. The teller began to look for his drawer key, at which time he was joined by the manager. The manger saw the note, and activated the alarm. The [woman] asked twice, “Did you pull the alarm?” The teller responded they had, and the [woman] asked for the demand note back, which she was given. [The woman] fled the bank on foot.

She's described as white, 5'2" and thin, and in her 40s.
