Man charged with January armed carjacking in Dorchester

Boston Police report arresting a man they say used a knife to get a Dorchester resident and her four-year-old daughter out of their car on Jan. 13 outside 14 Clarkson St.

Police say Patrick Denuccio, 34, formerly of Lawrence but now claiming a Boston address, threatened to kill the woman and her daughter if they didn't leave the vehicle.

Police arrested Denuccio today on Cambridge Street in Brighton, on charges of armed carjacking, assault by means of a dangerous weapon, threats to commit a crime, larceny of a motor vehicle and larceny over $250.

Police add Denuccio is also wanted on warrants out of Lawrence and Newburyport on charges of larceny and leaving the scene of an accident.

Innocent, etc.

This guy belongs behind bars. Here's hoping that the guy who carjacked the car of the Dorchester resident and her 4-year-old daughter at knifepoint and threatened to kill them if they didn't leave the vehicle is made to serve a long, hard term in a maximum-security penitentiary! It would serve him right.

What happened to innocent until proven guilty? It seems like it's guilty until proven innocent and that's not right. I'm sorry that happened to this lady and her daughter but this is the wrong man they arrested for this crime! I hope the police do there job and find the real criminal! This has sloppy police work written all over it!
