Woman stabbed in Dorchester

Shortly before 1:50 p.m. at Florida and Shepton streets, although she managed to make her way to Dorchester Ave. and Gallivan Boulevard, where a police officer found her and rushed her to the hospital. The homicide unit was called in because of the severity of her injuries.

Was this really at 1:50 in the afternoon? If she made her way to Dot Ave there are a lot of businesses she could have gone in to call for help. Or was she just trying to get to Carney on her own? Very curious as this is close to where I live.
