Assault and battery with a dangerous napkin holder

Boston Police report a South Boston woman used a napkin holder to get her sister to back off and stop trying to break up a fight between her and her mother on Friday - by throwing it at her sister's face. When a police officer arrived, after receiving a report of domestic violence at 38 Joyce Hayes Way, the woman wound up kicking him in the knee, hard enough to make his knee buckle and send him to the hospital.

The woman was arrested on one count of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (napkin holder) and one count of assault and battery on a police officer with a dangerous weapon (shod foot). Police add: "The wooden napkin holder was seized and turned in as evidence."
