Three men were arraigned on Monday for a May 6 gun battle in which at least 21 bullets were discharged with nobody getting hit in the area of Washington and Mystic streets in the South End, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports. Read more.
Live Boston reports BPD officers and state troopers responding to a gunfire call at Blue Hill Avenue and Angell Street Friday night found a man with a fresh gunshot wound to his hand. Their investigation showed the man was apparently trying to shoot somebody else, but wound up sending a bullet through his own hand instead.

Boston Police report they are looking for this scooter-driving guy for an armed robbery around 2:50 p.m. on Sunday at 67 Woodrow Ave. in Dorchester.

Live Boston reports a man and woman were shot on Humphreys Street at Humphreys Place shortly after midnight. The victims managed to flee in a car, before stopping in front of the Dublin House, where police and EMTs met them for transportation to local hospitals.
Cambridge Police report officers responding to a report of gunfire on Harvard Street near Greene-Rose Heritage Park found multiple shell casings, around 11:25 p.m. on Sunday.

Boston Police responded to 1 Mystic St., off Washington Street in the South End, on a report of several shots fired shortly before 9:30 p.m. They found one car with fresh gunshot damage, but no victims.
A man with a gunshot wound to the foot was dropped off at the emergency room at Faulkner Hospital around 9 p.m. Police are investigating whether it's related to a more serious shooting around 4 p.m. on Homes Avenue in Dorchester.

The Supreme Judicial Court ruled today that a Supreme Court decision last year that lets people pack guns for protection outside the home means it has no choice but to overturn a Boston man's conviction for the gun and bullets Boston and Watertown police found in his glove box - but the court upheld his 2 1/2 to 3-year sentence for one of the magazines they also found. Boston Police report a man was shot at 2055 Columbus Ave. around 10:15 p.m. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
