Police: Teen shoplifter at Macy's was packing loaded gun

Boston Police report arresting two Dorchester teens on shoplifting charges at Macy's yesterday afternoon. One of the duo, Deron Smith, 18, also had a loaded handgun in his pocket, along with all the jewelry he allegedly had stuffed in there before being stopped by store security, police say.

In addition to shoplifting, Smith was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition, police say.
