A man was found shot in the stomach in a car on Cawfield Street near Eastman around 11 p.m. The homicide unit was called almost immediately.

Boston EMS Incidents reports a man was shot in the leg around 1:15 a.m. on Paisley Park in Fields Corner.
Stanley Staco reports that shortly after 9:15 p.m., the occupants of two cars exchanged gunfire outside 36 Monadnock St. Fortunately for all concerned, they had terrible aim and no people were hit.

WHDH reports two parking-enforcement officers writing street-cleaning tickets found themselves under attack when somebody shot at their van - leaving one with an eye injury from broken glass.
City records show the incident happened around 12:45 a.m. on Washington Street between Columbia Road and Blue Hill Avenue.
A West Roxbury man pleaded guilty to a variety of gun charges yesterday for an incident that started while police were investigating reckless ATV and dirt-bike riders on Ridgewood Street in Dorchester, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.
According to the DA's office, police officers, already alerted to resident complaints about reckless dirt bikers on May 28, 2013, spotted an ATV take a right off Draper onto Ridgewood and followed it.
WFXT reports the shootings are linked to the same guns, which are still on the street, along with their shooters.
Firefighters are on Elm Street in Dorchester, trying to contain any fluids that might be leaking from a T maintenance vehicle that fell off the Red Line around 7 p.m.
A T spokesman reports:
A piece of equipment crews have been using all weekend for track work on the Dorchester branch of the Red Line slid down a hill today. Operator of the equipment had no visible injuries but was taken to the hospital as a precaution. The cause of the accident is under investigation. Buses have been replacing train service in that area all weekend to allow crews to perform the track work.
After the fall on Bellflower Street
A roving UHub photographer happened upon a chaotic scene outside what had been a rockin' party on Bellflower Street in Dorchester tonight:
There were partygoers jumping from the roof onto a neighboring roof. One missed, took out the other house's porch railing, and landed three stories down into an alley. Taken away in bad shape.
Police recovered at least six shell casings on Whitfield Street near West Tremlett shortly after 11 p.m.
Around 11:10 p.m. in the area of Tuttle and Sydney streets. By 12:50 a.m., police had Sydney Street taped off, looking for evidence. Possible suspect: A white man in a black hoodie seen running from the area.

A man apparently attempted to end an argument that turned physical by stabbing the other participant, around 12:15 p.m. on Wentworth Street near Norfolk Street. The victim was not hurt badly enough to keep him from chasing after his attacker. Police arrived in time to find both of them.
Boston Police report that officers on bicycle patrol in Dorchester Monday evening were alerted to a fight on Columbia Road, just off Blue Hill Avenue.
A Suffolk Superior Court jury today convicted Reginald Holley and Oasis Pritchett of first-degree murder for the Oct. 17, 2012 death of Alfonso Rivas in a Lyndhurst Street apartment, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.
The verdict means a mandatory sentence of life in prison without parole.
Prosecutors convinced the jury that Holley, 24, and Pritchett, 23, both of Roxbury, planned to rob Rivas of the marijuana they had allegedly arranged to buy from him.
