Around 9:45 p.m., police found a man with gunshot wounds to the stomach and leg on Harvard Street near Washington Street. Minutes later, they found a 16-year-old stabbed in the head a couple blocks away on Gaylord Street.

Police are looking for a white Corolla seen driving away from the area.

Boston Police report subduing a man who punched an officer - and reached for a loaded gun - while being arrested around 7 p.m. on Monday at 3 Bakersfield St. in Dorchester.

According to police, officers on special patrol due to an uptick in violence near that location sniffed the smell of burning marijuana while passing three guys hanging out there.

The Dig reports organizers of a recent foreclosed-house takeover in Dorchester are talking to the Federal Housing Finance Agency about a pilot program that would aim to help people rather than force them into homelessness.

Two men from Dorchester were among four indicted last week on federal charges of running a heroin ring out of a Hyde Park triple decker.

According to a court filing, Osvaldo Ortiz-Ventara, 23, and Weslley Hernandez, 25, served as couriers for the ring. They allegedly delivered the fatal dose of heroin laced with fentanyl and an animal painkiller to an intermediary who sold it to a Braintree man whose girlfriend found him dead of an overdose in January.

UPDATE: Max found OK, tied to a post in Quincy.

This poor dog is Max. He was taken from the corner of Adams Street and Gallivan Boulevard. The owner secured him to a pole as he had in the past to run into the store. and that is when Someone took him . If you were in the area from 8:00pm- 9:00 pm last night and remember anything please contact Boston Police. The family is obviously devastated.

The FBI's Bank Robbery Task Force reports the Mt. Washington bank branch at 489 Gallivan Blvd. was held up shortly after 1 p.m. on Monday by a scruffy-bearded white man in a Red Sox cap.

The man was about 5'10" with a medium build and in his late 20s or early 30s.

Stanley Staco reports a man was stabbed in the stomach around 10 p.m. at the Star Market at River and Washington streets. Police are looking for a woman seen running from the scene.

Shortly after 10 p.m., police found a shooting victim on Dix Street near Leslie. The victim said he was actually shot a couple blocks away, on Centre Street..

Transit Police report arresting a man from Manchester, NH on charges he groped a woman at the JFK/UMass Red Line stop Saturday evening.

According to police, Charles Williams, 54, was arrested in the station not long after the alleged attack:

The victim stated as she was walking up the stairs leading to the station a male walking parallel to her suddenly grabbed her and then Indecently Assaulted her. The victim was able to point out the suspect who was still inside the station.

David Finnerty and Stanley Staco report somebody was shot around 11:10 p.m. on Saturday at 25 Bailey St. The homicide unit was summoned due to the severity of the person's injuries.

UPDATE: The Globe reports two men were shot, but one didn't wait around for EMTs and instead got himself to the hospital.

UPDATE: Boston Police report the man died. The Herald reports he was Michael DePina.

Around 8:45 p.m. a man on a motorcycle crashed on Taft Street near Dorchester Avenue. As he was taken away with serious injuries, police found a gun near his motorcycle, then another gun near Pleasant Street.

Police locked down Taft Street - residents were not allowed out of their homes - as they conducted a line search looking for any additional evidence in yards and under cars.

Capt. John Greland at C-6 reports that around 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday, a motorist took exception, by way of his fist, to a bicyclist obeying traffic rules at Dorchester Avenue and Columbia Road.

Greland says the motorist, apparently headed straight, beeped at the bicyclist in front of him. When the bicyclist refused to move and told him the light was red, the driver got out of his car and punched the bicyclist in the face, giving him a bloody mouth and knocking him to the ground - possibly into unconsciousness - Greland says.
