Winmill Fabrics going out of business

The store's last day is June 15.

The Boston Business Journal reports Patriot Care is aiming for a June 10 opening for its dispensary at 21 Milk St. The Zoning Board of Appeals approved the dispensary this past August.

Truck struck in Downtown Crossing

Titanium Cranium came upon this Downtown Crossing scene around 5 p.m. She reports that the driver was finally able to extricate himself and his truck, with a 30-degree turn.

UPDATE: Amtrak got the signals working again around 2 p.m.

Around 8:45 a.m., the T announced: "Due to a signal problem, South Side trains cannot arrive to/depart from South Station." Again.

The T blamed Amtrak for the problems. Again.

NorthEast Fire Alert reports a mattress caught on fire on the fourth floor of the Omni Parker House on School Street shortly after 9:30 p.m. Sprinklers mostly doused the blaze; but firefighters ran a hose up there just in case.
