Rocco Collella, 30, of the South End, was released on personal recognizance yesterday on a charge of videotaping an unsuspecting person in the nude for a February incident in the men's room at the Marshalls store in Downtown Crossing, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

Two of three men who smashed a man with their skateboards outside the Haymarket-station Dunkin' Donuts last night tried to use their boards to outrace pursuing police officers, but failed.
Police say that around 7:25 p.m., the skater boys attacked a 53-year-old man who accidentally bumped into one of them outside the Dunkin' Donuts at the station. They then took off towards the Garden, with police quickly on their tail, thanks to an alert MBTA bus driver who pointed them out.
The victim was taken to Mass. General; his injuries are not considered life threatening, police say.

Tonight's line of mourners for the Orange Line includes a very special guest, Channel 7's own Dan Hausle, who had a Vine time recording the wait at Downtown Crossing, where riders piled up because of a train that ascended to Valhalla at Chinatown.

The FBI's Bank Robbery Task Force released a photo of the guy it says robbed the Eastern Bank branch at 63 Franklin St. around 4:15 p.m. on March 26.

The Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy yesterday began work in its parks near the North End that will include replacing some of the current benches with "porch swings" that will let sitters sway with the breeze or a little foot power.

Related Beal has filed plans for its Congress Square project downtown, which would combine and reuse existing downtown office buildings with new structures clustered around a Quaker Lane rebuilt as "an intimately scaled pedestrian way finished with catenary lighting, sculptural seating and landscaping."

One witness on the platform said he heard a "boom" then screeching as the train driver hit the brakes.
