UPDATE: Arrest made for one attack.

Three days after an elderly man was found with what turned out to be fatal injuries in Belle Isle Marsh on the East Boston/Revere line, another man was attacked in the marshes, State Police report.

State Police, who emphasize they still do not know how the first man suffered his injuries, report they are looking to see if the two incidents are related and say they have stepped up patrols in the 251-acre reservation, which straddles the borders of East Boston, Revere and Winthrop. Read more.

Boston City Councilor Sal LaMattina says he sometimes gets frustrated with the otherwise beautiful view from Piers Park in East Boston: He can see the Seaport in South Boston, but knows the only way to get there by public transportation is via three subway lines and a bus. Read more.

The Boston Licensing Board yesterday voted a one-day suspension for a February incident Belle Isle Wine and Spirits in which an employee got into the boss's office, took out his rifle and posed for a Facebook photo with it, which led to a visit by Boston Police and the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force. Fire drill at Logan Airport in Boston, involving actual fire

UPDATE: Alex Howell reports the Trump sign has been replaced with a Boncore sign.

PRI looks at the tension involving a laundromat in a heavily Latino neighborhood whose New Hampshire owner has plastered the front with a Trump sign - he says he doesn't understand why anybody might object, because he voted for Obama and some of his best friends are Central Americans.

Note to PRI: The neighborhood is still popularly known as Eastie.

Rolled over garbage truck at Logan Airport

State Police report a nearly full garbage truck tipped over shortly after 5 a.m. on a Logan Airport service road, sending the driver to the hospital with minor injuries and shutting the road as crews worked to right the truck and clean up the mess.

The tipping happened between Terminal E and the Gulf station, State Police report.

The Zoning Board of Appeals this week approved an Orient Height storeowner's proposal to put six condos atop his building after he reducing the total number of units - agreeing to eliminate planned three-bedroom units as a way to discourage somebody from buying a unit and renting it out to college students. Boston.com reports on a court transcript related to the death of Cristofer Perez de la Cruz, 16, whom local MS-13 members allegedly found in the central Mass. area where he'd been relocated by police after he agreed to testify against MS-13 members, then killed him and dumped his body on Falcon Street in East Boston.
