Boston Police today identified Sunday's murder victim as Cristofer Perez de la Cruz, 16. He was from Chelsea.

He was found fatally shot around 1:35 a.m. on Falcon Street. Read more.

He is Boston's first homicide victim of 2016.

Around 9:30 p.m. outside 282 Bennington St. He was able to get himself to the East Boston Health Center on Gove Street.

Police are looking for two suspects, both black, both dressed in black. The alleged knifeman is 5'10" with crooked, yellow teeth. His accomplice was described as 6', about 30, with a beard. No description of his teeth.

State Rep. Jay Livingstone (D-Back Bay) announced last night he's running for the 1st Suffolk and Middlesex senate seat being vacated by Anthony Petruccelli.

His announcement came only hours after neighboring state Rep. Aaron Michlewitz (D-North End) announced he wasn't going to run for the seat. Read more.

Proposed new building in East Boston

Note use of exotic material known as "brick."

A developer has filed plans with the BRA to tear down three old buildings at Frankfort and Maverick streets to make way for a 23-unit residential building.

East Boston Management and Development LLC says the building, between the Maverick and Airport T stops, would include a 20-space garage and storage space for 30 bicycles. Read more.

The Boston Fire Department is blaming a plumber's torch for a two-alarm fire at 217 Lexington St. that sent two firefighters to the hospital Monday night.

The fire, called in around 9:15 p.m., did an estimated $200,000 damage, the department says, adding the plumber was working in a third-floor bathroom.

Proposed layout of Terminal E international-arrivals expansion at Logan Airport

Proposed layout of Terminal E expansion, to be done in two phases.

With international travel through Logan Airport really taking off, Massport is planning additions to Terminal E that would include new gates, an expanded Customs area and a covered pedestrian walkway to the Airport T station.

In an environmental notification form filed with the state last month, Massport says the expansion will served a growing international travel market that it says will reach 6 million passengers a year in 2022, compared to 4.9 million in 2014. Read more.

Bunny on the Blue Line

UPDATE: Transit Police remind silly rabbits that seats are for kids.

Tamas K-L noticed the fuzzy family (a bunny and two cats, plus their human tenders) hurtling towards Wonderland this afternoon. No word if the woman is named Alice or if the rabbit was late.
