DCR, MassDOT and State Police say that since 2007, there have been 25 recorded storrowings on Storrow and Memorial drives and Soldiers Field Road on weekends during which students flow into and out of the city. Read more.

Star Market is hoping customers will buy foods to eat on patios outside its Dorchester, Fenway and Allston stores.
The chain goes before the Boston Licensing Board on Wednesday for permission to add patios at the three locations, similar to what the Whole Foods in the South End offers - with 24-hour patio seating at the Fenway store. Read more.

Boston Police report they are looking for a man they say attacked two women and kicked a man in Kenmore Square on July 4.
Police said the man made "anti-gay comments" as he attacked the two women.
He's about 6' in his 20s and has a buzz cut. he was wearing a black shirt, a black jacket and bluejeans at the time, and carried a black backpack.
Bouncers managed to avert physical contact and injuries at Bill's Bar on May 17, when a guy in a group of white Sox fans about to get on a bus to go back to New Hampshire after a game and some drinking decided to scream a racial slur at a small group of black men entering the bar, police and bar workers told the Boston Licensing Board today. A health inspector ordered the Chipotle at 148 Brookline Ave. shut today after finding cheese, raw steak and chicken, marinated chicken, barbacoa and carnitas in a walk in cooler at temperatures well above the maximum allowable 41 degrees - as well as similar conditions in a "reach-in unit" holding cheese and guacamole at the front of the store.
