You're wrong on this one. We only add the "r" at the end of words like Cuba if that word is in the middle of the sentence and the next word begins with a vowel, not the end. For example: I've never been to Cuba. Cubariz a communist country.

Good call, Brian. I heard the same nonsense when I was in Navy bootcamp. Guys would ask me to say "Pahk ya cah in Hahvad Yahd", which they seemed to really enjoy. Then some lame-o would ask me to say "warsh ya cah". When I would naturally leave out the unnecessary "r" from "wash", he would tell me I got it wrong. This was after I was born and raised 27 years in Boston. Maybe they say "warsh" in Ohio or someplace.
