You're wrong on this one. We only add the "r" at the end of words like Cuba if that word is in the middle of the sentence and the next word begins with a vowel, not the end. For example: I've never been to Cuba. Cubariz a communist country.

Good call, Brian. I heard the same nonsense when I was in Navy bootcamp. Guys would ask me to say "Pahk ya cah in Hahvad Yahd", which they seemed to really enjoy. Then some lame-o would ask me to say "warsh ya cah". When I would naturally leave out the unnecessary "r" from "wash", he would tell me I got it wrong. This was after I was born and raised 27 years in Boston. Maybe they say "warsh" in Ohio or someplace.

Good call Jay. I know exactly what you mean. I was Air Force for 8 years and no matter where I go it's always that fuckin "pahk ya cah in hahvid yahd". It gets old after awhile. Every once in awhile you'll get those dinks who try to tell ya ur wrong, forget about it, whatd'a they know?

Yah, there is no "R" sound unless it is followed by a vowel, and it goes in front of the vowel: Havanna ris the capital of Cuba. This post makes us all look like a bunch of knuckleheads.
