re: Morgie's
Back in the sixties, when we were in junior high school, if we were busting somebody's chops about what they were wearing, ("rankin' them out" as we called it,) we'd say "Where ja buy that?...M. I.T.?""M.I.T." stood for "Morgie's In Town" and, of course, "Morgies" rhymes with "doggies."

Morgan Memorial is the same as Goodwill -- Boston-based MM is the original, but the national version of which it is the local affiliate is Goodwill.

Went to Downtown near Liberty Mutual and dropped the clothes that none of us had and felt good about it. The boxes came latah.
