If you live in the path of Logan Airport departures there's no doubt you were unable to sleep the morning of Saturday, October 31, 2015. He's a chart of the flights from about 5:30 A.M. to about 9:00.

Jamaica Plain News reports Forest Hills residents will no longer have to hoof it all the way up to Centre Street for gourmet burgers, because Grass Fed is opening a second location in the space where Tonic used to be, across from the T station.

Ronaldo Cepeda, 16, of Dorchester, was arraigned today on charges he stabbed Mason Raymond, 17, to death yesterday at the Jackson Square T station.

Raymond, of Hyde Park, died around 4:30 a.m. today, of a single stab wound to the heart, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office says. It provided this account: Read more.

UPDATE: Victim died; suspect arrested.

In the chest and stomach, shortly before 3:20 p.m., Moynihan and David Finnerty report. Both homicide detectives and Commissioner William Evans arrived at the scene.

The station was closed for the investigation.

An 18-year-old was arraigned today on charges he opened fire on a group of teens after an argument on a bus entering Forest Hills station Friday morning. Read more.

Wanted for in-train self love on the Orange Line

Transit Police report they are looking for a 40-ish man they say serviced himself in full view of other passengers on an Orange Line train hurtling through Roxbury and Jamaica Plain around 1:25 p.m. on Oct. 14.

He got off at Forest Hills and walked towards the upper busway, police say.

An aggrieved citizen complained this afternoon:

Multiple helicopters hovering over JP right now. It is loud, and unnecessary, and disruptive.

Firefighters responded to 181 Amory St. around 4:30 p.m. for a fire in an abandoned two-story warehouse. The roof collapsed.

Boston Police report arresting two teens after one of them threatened some other teens with a taser and the other took out a gun and started firing outside the upper busway at Forest Hills station around 7:55 a.m.

The owner of Fazenda Coffee Roasters across from the Forest Hills T stop is seeking an all-alcohol license with which to change the coffeehouse into a restaurant specializing in "tastings" - menus that pair particular drinks with a changing roster of food items. Read more.

Sign says runner runs better than the government in Franklin Park

Patty spotted a well wisher at today's BAA Half Marathon which started in Franklin Park.

Fire on Dunster Street in Jamaica Plain

The Boston Fire Department reports a fire called in around 3:30 p.m. at 46 Dunster Rd. in Jamaica Plain went to three alarms before it was brought under control.

The department estimates damage at $300,000. Nobody was injured; two people were displaced. The cause and exact origin are under investigation.

The end of the Forest Hills upper busway

Clay Harper watched the demolition of the upper busway at Forest Hills this morning. It's part of the work to add a berth for those extra-long 39 buses now that the old trolley station they'd been using is in the way of the new Arborway.
