State Police report the man who died when his 2013 Dodge Ram truck swerved off Morton Street near the rotary and overturned last night was Lawrence Mulhern, 53.

Mulhern was pronounced dead at the scene.

Last night, Boston Police identified the pickup as the one that hit a van shortly before the fatal crash at Morton Street and Blue Hill Avenue.

Police are looking for four suspects, one a woman in a long dress with orange stripes who did the stabbing and three men, one wearing a GPS ankle bracelet and a blue-and-white striped shirt.

Because of the proximity to the Orange Line station - initial reports suggested the stabbing happened near the fare gates - the T had Orange Line trains bypass Jackson Square.

Police are looking for a 140-lb. Great Dane, black with white markings on her chest, who goes by the name Lydia. She's a service dog and was last seen on Centre Street, at the Jamaica Pond end, this evening.

The Jamaica Plain Gazette reports a developer now has to decide whether to seek city approval of a plan to tear down a two-family house used as an office on South Street and replace it with four units after the Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Council's zoning committee narrowly voted to oppose the plan. Under zoning, he could put up a three-unit building; he had spent two years negotiating with neighbors.

Boston Police report arresting Robert Christopher Baker, 28, of Livermore, CA, for last night's attack on the Southwest Corridor near English High School, in which he allegedly knocked an elderly woman off her bike and stole hner iPhone.

State officials confirmed today a dread Emerald Ash Borer was found in a trap at the Arnold Arboretum earlier this month and that they are now working on a quarantine zone that would be similar to, if somewhat less strict, than the one recently lifted for Asian Longhorned Beetles.

The insect, named because of its bright green color and the way it bores into ash trees, "represents a serious threat to our ash trees,” DCR Commissioner Jack Murray said in a statement. “We are taking swift action to address the infestation, educate the public, and work to mitigate any impact an infestation could bring.”

The Boston Public Health Commission reports some mosquitoes found in Jamaica Plain tested positive for the virus earlier this week.

No human cases this summer have yet been reported of the virus, which, in otherwise healthy people, normally only causes a mild flu-like infection. Still, the commission says now's the time for residents to do their part to reduce mosquito bites and breeding:
