The Blue Line is currently experiencing "severe delays" due to "a signal problem at Orient Heights."
Riders from the south and west got to enjoy the scenic vistas of the South Station rail yards this morning when Amtrak's signals failed yet again, and trains were unable to pull into the station. America's Railroad fixed the problem shortly after 9:15 and trains began pulling in.

Transit Police report arresting John Bubier, 60, around 9 a.m. today at Andrew Square after officers say they watched him piggyback through a fare gate behind a paying T rider and then discovered he had failed to register as a Level 3 sex offender.
UPDATE, 6 p.m. He was found, safe and sound, at Copley station.
Transit Police report officers are once again looking for Jeffrey Cooper, a tall, skinny and autistic teen from East Boston who loves riding the subway.
He was last seen yesterday.

MBTA Gifts reports it's just gotten in 70 fare boxes from 1980s-era T buses and Boeing Vertol Green Line trolleys and plans to offer them for sale.
Drive through the new Assembly Row project, past the giant Lego giraffe, the Winter Hill Yacht Club and the new Orange Line station and you wind up at a little cul de sac in a grassy area on the banks of the Mystic River that's a cool place to see the confluence of nature and the working parts of modern civilization.

A suspicious package at Airport on the Blue Line around 8:50 a.m. quickly brought the bomb squad and officers with high-powered weapons and dogs to the station.
Passengers were evacuated from the station and train service was halted.
Around 9:06 a.m., the package was declared not suspicious. A couple minutes later, riders were allowed back into the station and service resumed.

A Franklin man was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence of drugs after he allegedly drove his car right into Route 240 bus in Randolph this morning, Transit Police report.

Transit Police are investigating a crash shortly after 10:30 a.m. that sent a man to the hospital.
A T spokesman says:
A man crossed in front of a Route 15 bus near Dudley and Albion Streets. He was transported to Boston Medical center with injuries described as non-life threatening. An investigation is underway.

Transit Police report a man was found stabbed at the Quincy Center T stop around 3:20 a.m.
Erik Manley, 37, of Braintree, was arrested on a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. The victim, 35, from Weymouth, was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive, police say.
