Stabbing in JP; armed robbery by guy with no front teeth in Roxbury

Today's daily mayhem report from Boston Police includes news of five guys ganging up to rob somebody around 4:30 p.m. at Washington and Williams streets in Jamaica Plain:

The victim stated he was approached by five unknown males that stated, "Run your pockets." The victim stated he ignored the suspects' request and got involved in an altercation. The victim stated he felt a sharp pain in his chest and at that time the suspects ran away. The victim stated he grabbed his chest and noticed blood. At that time, his friend arrived and took him to the hospital.

The victim is expected to live.

Also, around 10:05 last night, a woman told police she'd been robbed at knifepoint near the Timilty Middle School by a man with no front teeth. Police say they found the guy, on a bicycle on on Malcolm X Boulevard not long after. They charged him, found the alleged knife and the victim's necklaces and iPod.
