Odds on the first accident caused by the new WGBH large-screen TV?

What is WGBH thinking?? A massive screen hanging over the highway?? ... I drove by this a week ago as they were testing it and it was distracting enough. ...

I suppose it remains to be seen how it will play out, but is it really any worse than a billboard (especially since many of the billboards around the Boston area are the kind that change from one ad to the next)? It's at least on a straightaway of 90, which should help somewhat.

I think it's a really cool idea, despite being very un-Boston. I hope it works out.

Didn't a proposed video

Didn't a proposed video screen on the Fleet Center/Boston Garden get shot down for the same reason?

Why was WGBH allowed to get away with it?

And was this a smart use of our donation money?
