Labor day weekend i was in NYC.Walking down 42nd street when a bum jumps up at the site of my red sox cap. "HEY BALLSTAIN, HEY BALLSTAIN, YOUR TEAM SUCKS" I reminded him that my team was in first place and that he was a bum, and then i was on my way.
I have to comment. This past spring my Husband and I went to NYC to see a Red Sox / Yankee game, besides the heckling we were given and the vulgar and rude comments the Yankee fans had to say to us. We never once made a comment back. I had a young woman "Yankee fan" sitting next to me, during the whole game the only thing this stupid girl could say was " That's what I'm tawkin bout - way to go Pettitte"
The girl knew nothing about baseball - and trust I mean NOTHING, I had the displeasure if having to sit next to this idiot.
I have nothing nice to say about yankee fans... oh and even though we lost the game we went to see - you might of thought they had just won the penant, I had to remind them - we're ( Red Sox) still 15 games ahead of you.
