Vast hordes of rats ready to eat your food and nibble your toes in the night
Apparently hoping to strum up some business in the Hub, d-Con's sponsored a report claiming Boston is third among American cities for "potential rodent problems."
Potential? I guess the authors' "rodent risk assessment" didn't take into account the actual rats that already infest Back Bay alleys.
Via John Keith, who also wonders, basically, WTF.

Cambridge too, yuck!
Dunno about Boston, but Central Square
is crazy with rats. As in, seeing them
scurry across residential streets in
full day light. Finding them dead in your
driveway. Not pretty.
Rats in T stations
I've often seen them at Park Street, Kendall, and other stations. Fortunately they stay in the trackbed and don't jump onto the platforms.
