A large tree fell...
By Ron Newman - Wed, 05/25/2005 - 10:56pm.
... at the corner of Orchard and Beech Streets, in North Cambridge. It blocked half of Beech Street and a little bit of Orchard.
I don't know when it fell, but I saw it around 11:30 tonight. For some reason, five orange traffic cones were sitting on the sidewalk nearby, so I put them up all around the fallen tree. Maybe that will stop someone from running into it tonight.
If you see other fallen trees, post them as comments here.

Fresh Pond & Mass Ave
Not a whole tree, but a great big branch was blocking a lane and a half of Mass Av just on the Arlington side of Rt. 16, right after 12:30 this morning.
Fallen trees
On Main Street, right at the base of the Longfellow Bridge in Cambridge (on the Boston-bound side, right before the turn-off to get on Memorial Drive), there is a large tree that has come loose in the dirt where it's planted and is leaning precariously into the street. When I passed this morning it was fully blocking the bike lane and barely reaching into the right lane of traffic.
