Savaging Logan Airport

Dan Savage, you know, the sex columnist, was in Boston this week. He finds the T not so bad (especially because he got on the Green Line for free), but tears into Logan Airport, in terms a family Web site can't be expected to repeat.

Logan Armpit?
You think a facility with travellers from around the world would have:
decent directional signs
places to plug in a lap top
free wifi
places to sit with laptops and plug them in
adequate direction toward ground transportation options
legible maps that aren't half covered with self-promoting political bull
federal standard signage on the roadways
They do finally have a cel phone lot, but they act like they invented it, rather than planned it into a renovation!
Little Logan
But I, who have gone through Logan as many times as I could get home, like it very much and was sad when they moved the Air Canada flights to a smaller terminal. I enjoyed my little Logan routine, and once I even treated myself to a Logan manicure. I learned which security line-up was always the fastest, and I always treated myself to a restorative Starbucks coffee afterwards. Yes, I do like Logan. I found it small and cozy, and you can find the buddy who comes to meet you right down by the luggage belts.
