Brookline police prevent more BU students from having a good time

Brookline Police report busting up two parties early Saturday, at 54 Egmont St. and 241 Freeman St. Both allegedly involved BU students and large quantities of liquor present. In addition, a BU lass allegedly walking down Freeman with a "party cup" was charged with being a minor in possession of alcohol.

Little to no sympathy here.
First of all, even though they're young students, anybody who's old enough to attend college should know enough to have some respect for their neighbors and not have loud, drunken parties 'til all hours of the morning.
Secondly, it's against the law for people under 21 to possess alcohol and the people who were arrested for being minors in possession of alcohol were asking for trouble. They should've thought twice.
Thirdly, (here's something I do have some sympathy for), while I feel for the person who got his/her expensive stuff stolen from their car, they never should've left it in their car out in plain sight for vandals in the first place. However, I believe the vandals who broke into this person's car deserve to be arrested and punished accordingly.

I totally agree with every point you made. Also, I'm glad to hear that you never drank alcohol before you were 21. I personally think everyone who drinks underage is a criminal, a sinner, and more than deserved when they get locked-up. People who break even the smallest law make baby Jesus shed one indian tear.

Oh, and one more thing:
The B. U. students,(or anybody, for that matter), do not have the right to have a great time at other people's expense. Inotherwords, the students' right to have a good time ends with their non-partying neighbors to be able to get a decent night's sleep and not be kept awake until the wee hours of the morning by excessively loud music and noise, and to not have their property vandalized in the process.
